 In 2015 analysierte die DRV Service GmbH die Anforderungen an eine mögliche Erweiterung des bestehenden Datenstandards um eine Buchungslogik. Ziel dieses Schritts war die Evaluierung, welche Anforderungen an eine solche Buchungslogik bestehen und ob diese im Markt akzeptiert würden. Hierzu wurden im ersten Schritt die Anforderungen der Marktteilnehmer auf Basis der im Beirat zum DRV Datenstandard vertretenen Reiseveranstalter erhoben, strukturiert und abgestimmt. Das auf dieser Basis erstellte Grobkonzept wurde in 2016 mit den wichtigsten, im deutschen Markt vertretenen touristischen Informations- und Buchungssystemen besprochen. Ergebnis war, dass auch auf Seiten der Technologieanbieter grundsätzlich eine hohe Akzeptanz für die neu zu entwickelnde Buchungslogik besteht.

		+	All identified requirements were document, rated and finally agreed on. The requirements designed were afterwards discussed in 2016 with the representatives of travel information and distribution companies within the German travel industry. It was agreed that travel technology companies are highly interested in the new standard and are willing to support the new booking interface.

		+	The development of the new interface is based on a cooperation between DRV Service GmbH and Amadeus Germany and Bewotec, who support the project as development partners. Both IT companies are currently, coordinated by MC Management Consulting as the project managers on behalf of DRV, in close cooperation with the advisory board of the DRV data standard. The project outcome will be a describtion of the new booking interface as an XSD scheme.
